The Challenge

Capital Square, an iconic Grade A office and retail building in Singapore’s Raffles Place, was the largest core asset listed for sale in Asia Pacific in the first quarter of 2011.

The Solution

Cushman & Wakefield's Singapore Capital Markets team created a global marketing campaign that was able to successfully meet the challenging project requirements of maximum exposure to global investors and a competitive bidding process.

The Result

The sale price exceeded vendor expectations, at a value of $700 million. It was the largest single asset brokered sale in Asia during 2011 and is the biggest brokered sale in Singapore since the global financial crisis. The sale process was completed before deadline, within 90 days of commencement of campaign.
