WellPoint's critical environments are varied and include data centers, regional computer rooms, a main distribution frame and intermediate distribution frame spaces. They require expert monitoring and response to support maintenance and continuous uptime, especially at locations not staffed 24/7.Cushman & Wakefield worked with WellPoint IT to develop an efficient system to provide quick problem identification and response, using the best technology and people.


The Solution

Our team installed the monitoring of environmental and power status at 38 critical locations across the U.S. – covering approximately 200,000 square feet. In addition, a Rapid Response Team was formed that includes 46 professionals across the country.


The Result

This winning combination offers quick, efficient response and has mitigated many potentially disruptive events, avoiding multi-million dollar downtime. A return on the capital investment was quickly achieved. WellPoint is one of the largest health benefits companies in the U.S.
