Cushman & Wakefield announced today that Mighty Quinn’s Barbeque, a fast casual restaurant chain, has signed a long-term lease at 1492 Second Avenue on the Upper East Side. The opening is expected in early 2016.
Mighty Quinn’s will occupy 1,850 square feet on the ground floor and 1,850 square feet in the basement in the Upper East Side building. This store represents Mighty Quinn’s fourth location in Manhattan. The chain has been expanding rapidly, with recent store openings in Brookfield Place and the West Village at 75 Greenwich Avenue.
“As an Upper East Side resident, I’m excited to bring our authentic barbeque to the neighborhood.” said Micha Magid, co-founder of Mighty Quinn’s Barbeque.
Cushman & Wakefield’s Jason Greenstone and Michael O’Neill represented Mighty Quinn’s in the transaction. Robert Conz and Claude Kolb of Metropolitan Property Group represented the landlord.
“This is a great next step in the expansion of Mighty Quinn’s BBQ in Manhattan,” said Greenstone. “We are continuing our search for new locations in Midtown and on the Upper West Side.”
