Adam Frizzell was a founding member of the Retail Group of Royal LePage Commercial Inc. (now Cushman & Wakefield Ltd.) and has over twenty-seven (27) years of Real Estate experience after graduating from BCIT’s Real Estate program. Adam specializes in the sale and leasing of retail properties, and enjoys working retail projects through the entire process, including site acquisition, design input, tenant mix, marketing, lease negotiations and asset disposal. Adam’s knowledge, experience and energy make him an integral part of the Retail Services team in Vancouver.
Adam has been able to utilize his knowledge and understanding of commercial leasing in order to analyze and maximize the sale value of retail projects. He has been involved in a variety of transactions including the sale of air space parcels, strata properties, office towers, bare land, foreclosures, apartment buildings and retail shopping centres. Adam has created niches in both the pre-leasing of shopping centres and the leasing and sale of restaurants and liquor primary establishments, and has negotiated hundreds of restaurant and bar transactions.
He currently represents both local and international restaurant tenants and is very successful at back-filling failed food and beverage operations. Recent projects that Adam has successfully pre-leased from the ground up include: the 120,000 square feet West Kelowna Landing, in West Kelowna B.C, and most recently, the 110,000 square feet Quality Foods anchored, Eagle Creek Shopping Centre in Victoria B.C.. Adam has been involved in several significant sale transactions including the forward sale of a shopping center that he pre-leased, for approximately $100,000,000.
In 2013, he was awarded the President’s Round Table sales award, and in February 2015, he was elected as a Commercial Director of the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver, on which he currently serves.
