Mr. Smith, Executive Director, has been with Cushman & Wakefield since 2000 and focuses in corporate real estate services. His greatest asset is his ability to clearly define and analyze real estate needs and execute cost – effective transactions. Mr. Smith’s specialization in corporate users provides him experience not only in the Chicagoland area, but across the United States.
Mr. Smith has been responsible for negotiating a wide range of transactions, including leases, subleases, purchases, build-to-suits and sales. On behalf of his clients, he has partnered with many of C&W’s service lines including global supply chain services, location incentives group, structured finance, valuation services, asset services and business consulting services. Additionally, he has expertise in the telecommunication and data center industry.
In 2005, Mr. Smith was nominated nationally as one of C&W’s “Emerging Brokers”. In both 2003, 2005 and 2006, his team won C&W’s Client Service Award for outstanding achievement in client satisfaction. Since 2000, his team has been nominated and won numerous awards in the Chicago real estate market including the 2004 winner of NAIOP Suburban Office Transaction of the Year Award, 2003 Winner of NAIOP Suburban Build-to-Suit of the Year Award and 2001 Nominee for NAIOP Industrial Transaction of the Year Award.
