Mr. Kahn’s knowledge of his clients’ objectives and his understanding of merchandising from the customer’s point of view have earned him the reputation as one of the best leasing advisors in the field. His abilities and proven expertise in retailer representation, store placement strategy, financial analysis and market understanding have led to his involvement in some of the most creative and complex retail lease negotiations in the country.
Mr. Kahn began his career at the Edward S. Gordon Company/Insignia ESG (the predecessor to CBRE in New York). He later helped form Retail Development Partners, a national landlord and tenant representation brokerage firm, which merged with Cushman & Wakefield in 2000.

Mr. Kahn has also represented many prominent landlords including TF Cornerstone, New York Life, The Carlyle Group, Millennium Partners, Peninsula Hotels, Kingsville Investments, Rabina Properties, Eastgate Realty, Ponte Gadea and Savanna. High-profile examples of Mr. Kahn’s work include the negotiation of leases for Microsoft at 677 Fifth Avenue, Ted Baker at 595 Fifth Avenue, Diesel at 685 Fifth Avenue and LEGO at Rockefeller Center.
