At Cushman & Wakefield | The Lund Company, Tony is responsible for aligning the information technology architecture and strategic initiatives to meet the company’s growth and development needs. Tony also leads the client relationship team and maintains responsibility over several key accounts. Tony joined the Company in 2011 as Director of Strategic Accounts bringing with him an extensive background in organizational development, strategic management and business intelligence. In 2012, Young was promoted to Vice President of Account Management where he was responsible for the management and overall performance of C&W | Lund’s property management teams in specific major accounts.
A results-driven leader, Tony has broad background in business analytics and operations. He founded Slate Inc., a private consulting company that provides high level operations and financial analysis to firms engaged in commercial and residential real estate development while serving as the Director of Operations for Fallbrook, a 700-acre master-planned community. Tony recently founded Red Herring Concepts, a hospitality company that specializes in the creation, operation and management of local and regional hospitality concepts. Previously, Tony served as Chief Information Officer and Vice President of Telesis, Inc. where he was responsible for the strategic planning, goals, policies, implementation and coordination of all information systems.
Tony holds a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. He also received a Bachelor of Arts in Communications; a Bachelor of Science in Institutional Development; and Associate in Science in Business Administration from Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska. Active in the fight against cancer, Tony chaired the American Cancer Society’s (ACS) Hope Gala and served as the Spokesman for the ACS Relay for Life. He recently served as an inaugural Board Member of the Fallbrook YMCA Committee of Management. In addition, Tony has served on numerous boards or as a member of the following organizations: Businesses for Environmental Leadership, USGBC Nebraska Flatwater Chapter, WasteCap of Lincoln, Sierra Club, Natural Resources Defense Council, Cancer Action Network, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation (JDRF), and Junior Achievement of Lincoln.
