Brent Johannesen completed his Bachelor of Commerce in Urban Land Economics at the University of British Columbia and originally joined Royal Lepage Commercial (now Cushman & Wakefield Ltd.) in 1995, where he started his career in commercial real estate. His 22 years of experience in the industrial market has enabled him to create strong working relationships with clients, landlords and brokers. Similarly, his transaction experience has provided him with a wide variety of strategies and solutions at a corporate level. Brent draws on a wide range of industrial experience including the sale and development of raw land, investment sales, design-build projects, owner-user sales and leasing.
Mr. Johannesen has acted on behalf of local, national and international clients for the disposition and acquisition of industrial space in the greater Calgary area including: Alberta Glass, Total-R, Clean Harbors, Nortel, Anixter, Avalan Logistics, Jeld-Wen, Stanley Black & Decker, Morguard, MRC Midfield, Can-West Elevators, and Alpha Steel. Brent Johannesen is licensed agent with RECA and has a contractual relationship with Cushman and Wakefield Ltd. He is an active volunteer in his community and contributes his time to coaching minor hockey in Calgary.
He has represented national and international clients such as Standard Life, Nortel and Morguard in addition to many regional and local companies.
