Charles Parmelli started his real estate career working with Garden State Land Group, a New Jersey-based developer of office and residential properties. Initially working on the firm’s portfolio of office and industrial space in Northern New Jersey, Charlie negotiated directly with prospective tenants and buyers on behalf of the company. He also supervised construction of both residential and commercial projects during this period. Garden State Land’s residential portfolio, centered on Mercer County, offered Charlie a broader real estate learning experience. Charlie’s understanding of the development and construction process, ability to grasp technical issues, understanding of financial models and attention to detail all enhance his ability to assist his clients.
Charlie joined Cushman & Wakefield (formerly DTZ) in 1999. As a Licensed Real Estate Broker, SIOR and CCIM, he leverages his broad experience to advise his clients, both occupiers and investors, in Northern and Central New Jersey. Charlie grew up in Paterson, New Jersey, and prides himself on having an comprehensive knowledge of New Jersey’s geography, and its relation to commercial real estate development.
Charlie focuses on representing both tenants and landlords on office, medical and technology-oriented space in Central and Northern New Jersey markets. Charlie has been involved in over three million square feet of deals for both tenants and landlords over the past 10 years with an aggregate value of over $280 million. Notable transactions and clients include Viju, Inc., Teksystems, PTC Therapeutics, Nistica, Inc., Ipsen Biopharmaceuticals, Hunterdon HealthCare, Business Credentialing Services, Johnson & Johnson, Fresenius Medical Care, Advanced Health Media, Furukawa Electric, LSI (formerly Agere Systems), SEIU, Blenheim Capital Management, LabCorp, and Blackwater Capital Management.
