Charles Van Geel serves as Senior Director within Cushman and Wakefield’s Southern Nevada market specializing in office real estate. Prior to joining in 2018, Mr. Van Geel served as Broker and Vice President of Commercial Leasing and Sales for American Nevada Company for nearly two decades where he negotiated over 1,000 sales and leasing transactions valued in excess of $1 billion.
As a native Nevadan, Mr. Van Geel has a deep-rooted connection to the state and an extensive history surrounding its economic development. He served as vice president of client services with the Nevada Development Authority, assisted the Speaker of the House in the Nevada Legislature, served as research manager and senior analyst for the Nevada Commission on Economic Development under Bob Miller.
Additionally, Mr. Van Geel is an active member and has served as Southern Nevada’s Chapter President in NAIOP, the commercial real estate development association, since 1999. He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR).
Mr. Van Geel prides himself on building relationships which lead to long-lasting partnerships by understanding the goals of business leaders and aligning the strategy to helping them achieve their prime objectives.
With his wife and two sons, the family enjoys volunteering with several non-profit groups, outdoor recreation, competitive sporting activities and entertaining their two dogs.
