Christa DiLalo joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2011. As a critical member of the firm’s 13 person New York Tri-state Research Services group, Ms. DiLalo conducts primary research, data-driven analysis and forecasting for the office and industrial sectors of Northern and Central New Jersey – a marketplace totaling approximately 800 million square feet of existing properties.
Based in East Rutherford, she supports the firm’s professionals and clients by providing analysis and insight into industry-wide and market-specific occupancy trends and costs, benchmarking studies and forecasting. She leads the Northeast research activities for C&W’s Data Center Advisory Group, and is a contributor to C&W’s award-winning publication MarketBeat, and other national whitepapers and research reports. In addition, she takes a lead role on special ad-hoc projects, working closely with C&W brokers, to support tenants, landlords and investors in making optimal real estate decisions.
Ms. DiLalo earned dual master's degrees-in public policy, and city and regional planning-from Rutgers University's Edward J. Bloustein School of Planning and Public Policy. Her education included extensive qualitative and quantitative research projects. Among them, in 2010 she was part of a group that created a comprehensive sustainability plan for West Cape May; that project won an Achievement in Planning Award from The New Jersey Planning Officials, a trade organization.
She is a member of C&W’s Future Leaders (CWFL), a program that focuses on continuing education, collaboration and communication among professionals throughout the Americas, and community service. She is also a long-time supporter of Habitat for Humanity. She began her work with the organization in 2003 as a volunteer and today runs week-long trips for high school and college students.
