Chris provides brokerage services to clients on a local, national and international level with a focus on office tenant representation assignments. He leverages Cushman & Wakefield’s globally integrated platform of services in Silicon Valley and the Peninsula to service all potential clients’ real estate needs, specializing in business development and client relationship management on a global scale and executing cross-border tenant representation assignments for multinational corporations.
Before joining Cushman & Wakefield in early 2013, Chris was a Risk Management Consultant at The Yucaipa Companies (Sep 2008-Feb 2013). He was responsible for 15 properties in 7 states consisting of 200,000+ sf as well as 300+ acres of land that had long term leases with companies and government entities. He handled assets consisting of all product types; was responsible for all financial statements, government filings, oversight and reporting on cash flow, sales and marketing plans, future revenue generators and tenant issues; and directly managed construction, development, renovation and redevelopment budgets.
Prior to this, Chris was a Partner at Sterling Investments Management Corporation (Jul 2001-Sep 2008) where he founded and managed all of the firm’s Southern California operations. Chris underwrote multiple transactions, primarily leveraged loans, to support borrower growth and acquisitions; built sophisticated multi-scenario financial models to forecast borrower’s future financial performance; evaluated alternative capital structures; and determined best transaction structure and appropriate covenant levels. He also actively managed a $100M+ portfolio of across various product types including multifamily, office and industrial.
