Chuck Scott is a respected leader in the commercial real estate industry with over 20 years’ experience. He is responsible for overseeing the Canadian operations of Cushman & Wakefield as the firm’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO).   


Prior to being named CEO Canada, Chuck was President of Global Occupier Services (GOS) in Canada where he delivered unmatched corporate real estate platform management, global business development, and corporate occupier/investor real estate services to some of the firm’s largest clients.

Chuck is a passionate, driven team leader and a talented client relationship manager with proven success in driving revenue and profit growth in the corporate real estate sector.

Corporate Real Estate Platform Development

• Developed and expanded privately owned North American real estate consulting and project management firm at 30% annual year-over-year rate ultimately selling to Cushman & Wakefield in 2008

• Expanded the Canadian Cushman & Wakefield GOS platform from: 

  • 3 to 21 national clients
  • 5 million square feet (MSF) to 135 MSF under management
  • 10 to 125 team members

• Achieved year-over-year revenue and EBITDA growth of over 25%, with a 300% increase since taking the business line leadership in 2008

Client Development

• Responsible for securing the largest accounts in Cushman & Wakefield’s Canadian operations history for multi-year, multi-service contracts, including:

  • Magna – 70 MSF
  • Royal Bank of Canada (RBC) – 24 MSF

• Lead transaction teams for some of Canada’s largest occupier and investor transactions:

  • Rio Tinto $52M asset sale, 300,000 SF tenant representation
  • RBC 4 MSF GTA occupancy strategy and 580,000 SF tenant representation
  • Major Canadian communications firm national asset valuation and monetization strategy - $700M
