Dan Bess has been an active commercial real estate practitioner in the Colorado marketplace since 1985.  Dan has represented landlords and tenants on more than 1,100 leasing and investment sales transactions totaling over $600 million and directly acquired, entitled and developed over $200 million of land and industrial properties.  He is recognized as a leading commercial real estate professional in the Denver market by many prominent local, regional and national firms.

Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Dan was a Principal at IBC Holdings, LLC, a privately held commercial real estate development and investment firm, where he and his partners purchased, entitled and developed over 1.4 million SF of industrial properties in the central and southeast submarkets of Denver. Previous to IBC Holdings, Dan worked for the Dallas based Trammell Crow Company for a period of 23 years.  Over the course of this tenure, he held various executive positions within the company’s leasing operations in Denver before serving as one of its three principals in the company’s Colorado Investment & Development Division.
