Mr. Pichler joined Cushman & Wakefield Regional, Inc., in August 2013 and has 13 years of experience in property tax consulting and appraisal. He is a Director and a member of the V&A Property Tax Services Group in the Ft. Lauderdale, Florida office.

Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, David was the SE Region Manager for Grant Thornton’s national property tax practice. At Grant Thornton he was responsible for financial management of the SE region and providing property tax consulting services. Prior to his employment at Grant Thornton, David was a Manager for Thomson Reuters. There he was responsible for providing property tax consulting services to large national real estate clients in Florida as well as recruiting, business development and practice management.

Prior to working as a property tax consultant for the taxpayer, David worked for the Broward County Property Appraiser’s office as a Deputy Property Appraiser. As an Income Specialist, his primary focus was Value Adjustment Board hearings and defending county assessor’s property values. For Broward County, David also performed market analysis, property assessment appraisals, and assisted with establishing the county’s annual tax roll per the Florida Department of Revenue guidelines. Prior to working for Broward County David worked for Appraisal Group International, a Property Appraisal firm.
