As Director at the New York office of Cushman & Wakefield, David specializes in local and global client representation. Focused in Manhattan and working on a global platform, he advises clients on how to drive value, avoid unnecessary costs, and maximize real estate holdings. He takes pride on his relentless determination of putting the client first surrounding them with the right team and company resources. He specializes in New York with a focus on Midtown’s CBD.
David started his career in real estate in 2005, working for New York based Gale International’s massive Songdo project located outside Incheon, South Korea. Songdo is the world’s largest private real estate development project of an international business city built on 1,500 acres of reclaimed land. The 100 MSF metropolis is a test project for future large-scale mixed-used projects around the globe for its sustainability and innovation. He traveled extensively throughout Asia and coordinated research with Columbia’s Graduate School of Real Estate. David was responsible for leasing 20 MSF of office space, 10 MSF of retail space and assisted in the presale of 4,000 luxury condominium units.
Following his experience in Asia, in 2008 he moved into brokerage working in New York specializing in Leasing (Tenant/Landlord Rep) & Sales. David has over 14 years of real estate experience in all facets of the industry including his most recent 10 years of brokerage at DTZ and Jones Lang LaSalle.
He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and CoreNet and was the recipient of DTZ’s Outstanding Performance Award in 2012. He received his Bachelor of Arts from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2006 and graduated from the New York Real Estate Institute in 2007.
David is an avid golfer, skier and enjoys the outdoors, particularly Colorado.
