With over 35 years of experience in real estate, Dean Morrison has been involved in hundreds of real estate transactions, working with clients on site selection, negotiations, leasing and brokerage. As a Senior VP and Broker in Toronto West’s Industrial division, his current responsibilities include business development, national accounts, industrial real estate sales, leasing and design-build.
Major past successes include assembly of the 700-plus acre Hanlon Creek Business Park for the City of Guelph, management of a $35 million design build project for ABB in Brampton, sale of land for Coca-Cola’s largest Canadian bottling plant and completion of a bio-tech commercialization study for the University of Guelph.
Some of his most recent assignments include a three facility consolidation for Yazaki North America Inc., numerous assignments for Dana Canada Corp. and the sale of a major real estate asset for GlaxoSmithKline Pharmaceutical Division.
Throughout his career, Mr. Morrison has worked closely with municipalities both professionally and in an advisory role. He has been VP of Economic Development for the Mississauga Board of Trade and has served on the Mayor’s Advisory Board for the City of Milton and the Mayor’s Economic Development Committee for the City of Mississauga.
He was also a founding director of the Greater Toronto Marketing Alliance and is a past fellow of the Ontario Realtor’s Institute. He has also served as commercial advisor to the Real Estate Council of Ontario (RECO), and he is a long-standing member of the National Commercial Council.
