Deborah joined EGS Commercial Real Estate in 2008. She specializes in industrial brokerage, real estate consulting, leasing and land sales, and brings a unique skill set to her clients due to her extensive background in the public sector and economic development. Prior to joining EGS, she served as the Executive Director of Jefferson County Economic and Industrial Development Authority (JCEIDA) where she led the development of the McCalla and Lakeshore Jefferson Metropolitan Parks, creating close to $1 billion in capital investment and securing numerous tenants including OfficeMax, Home Depot, McKessan Pharmaceutical, and Decostar, as well as Data Centers for Wells Fargo, Southern Company and Blue Cross Blue Shield.
Deborah received a Bachelor of Science degree from Troy University and a Masters of Public Administration from Auburn University at Montgomery. She is a nationally Certified Economic Developer and a real estate instructor for the International Economic Development Council (IEDC) Among her civic and professional activities, she serves on the National Board of Directors for the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP), the Board of Directors and Executive Committee for The Woman’s Fund and the Board of Directors for the Birmingham Sunrise Rotary Club.
