Debra Moritz is the Head of Strategic Consulting for Cushman & Wakefield, Inc. She oversees an integrated delivery platform designed to improve client business performance by reducing cost, increasing revenue, and mitigating risk. With more than 25 years of experience and a successful track record of advising business clients on the strategic management of their assets and portfolios, Ms. Moritz has developed an in-depth understanding of the complex and unique challenges businesses face in ensuring that major real estate decisions are aligned with and support core business objectives.
Throughout her career, she has represented many Fortune 1000 clients in business transformation, portfolio analysis, workplace solutions, M&A (and divestitures), and HQIQ (Headquarters evaluation and repositioning). Her work has resulted in meaningful value and industry recognition. She originated the concept of Workplace Solutions and Experience per SF within the real estate industry and has published many articles highlighting the evolving trends. Currently, her team is well recognized for their work product and results in Operating Platform Analysis, Labor & Site Location Analysis, Asset Repositioning, Capital Planning, Workplace Solutions and Change Management for office, industrial and retail clients.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Ms. Moritz served as an International Director/Managing Director with Jones Lang LaSalle from 1999 to 2011. During that time, she founded and led the firm’s Strategic Consulting Group overseeing specialty practices including Strategy Development, Portfolio Optimization, Mergers & Acquisitions, Location Advisory, Workplace Solutions, Organizational Design, Process Management and Sustainability. She also founded the former Jones Lang Wootton’s (JLL’s predecessor firm) original Corporate Advisory Services in Chicago in 1992. Prior to joining JLL, she performed highest and best use and asset repositioning for Union Pacific Corporation, increasing value for properties across the United States.
