Professional Expertise

Dev Gupta is a Managing Director at Cushman & Wakefield specializing exclusively in Tenant Representation.  He is responsible for servicing local clients and national accounts primarily in the Phoenix market.  Dev started in the industry in 1997 and has always worked exclusively as a Tenant advocate. Since that time, he has completed over 200 transactions ranging in size and scope from 5,000 square feet to 500,000 square feet and involving services from conventional lease analysis, strategic planning, unique build-to-suit projects, building acquisitions and dispositions. Dev’s specialties include office and industrial leasing, relocations, renewals and acquisitions.

Dev possesses extensive experience with managing and implementing transactions for diverse national portfolios, or large one-off deals. His particular knowledge of real estate financial issues enable him to proactively manage all types of transactions, minimizing risk, increasing flexibility, and reducing overall occupancy costs.  Dev has won Costar’s Power Broker of the year award in 2011 and 2014.

MDS Pharma: Assisted in purchasing a 110,000 square foot office facility in Phoenix, AZ. 

Farmers Insurance: Entire Metro Phoenix & Tucson portfolio includes two 15,000 square foot leases in Downtown Phoenix, and a 120,000 square foot consolidation.

Humana Insurance: Assisted in leasing 153,000 square foot building in West Phoenix, 80,000 square foot deal in the Camelback Corridor.

GSA: Negotiated over 700,000 square feet of office space leasing in Arizona and nationwide.

Yodle: 30,000 square feet of office space acquired in Scottsdale, Arizona.   

 



JDA: 60,000 SF Lease & 136,000 SF Sale. Represented JDA on a new 65,000 SF lease consolidation.

GSA (Immigration & Customs Enforcement, Chandler): 30,000 square foot office. 10-Year lease.

Centene: Consolidated expenses of 80,000 SF in Tempe, AZ and secured 236,131 SF in 2016.

Hanger Orthopedic (Entire Valley): Over 120,000 square feet of leasing including two 8,000 square foot leases in Chandler.

Humana (Entire Valley): Over 800,000 square feet of leasing including three transactions that totaled over 100,000 square feet each.
