Franklin E. Brown has been a full-time, commercial real estate broker for 33 years. He joined Cushman & Wakefield in 1983, specializing in industrial real estate and has represented both owner/developers and tenants in a wide range of real estate requirements. During the past 30 years at Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Brown has represented many of the world’s largest companies including Allied Signal, Advanced Micro Devices, Boehringer Ingelheim Pharmaceuticals, Fujitsu, Boise Cascade, Motorola, Manufacturers Hanover and Pitney Bowes. During this time, Mr. Brown has been involved in every aspect of real estate including tenant representation, property sales, property leasing, new-building development and marketing for multi-tenant lease-up programs, project financing, subleasing and land sales.
Over the past 15 years, Mr. Brown has specialized in managing corporate accounts for projects on a local, national and global basis. In this role, he has managed more than 275 projects for ABB, Inc., Barnes Group Inc., Invensys plc (formerly BRT plc), HJ Baker Brothers and AlphaMetrix.
Mr. Brown has been active in many community organizations including the Weston Educational Foundation, Babe Ruth Girls’ Softball and the United Way. Mr. Brown is also past chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Norfield Congregational Church. He attended the American School of Manila, Philippines and earned his BA in Sociology from Gettysburg College in Pennsylvania.
