Gordon Ahalt joined Cushman & Wakefield as a Senior Director and member of the Investment Advisory Group in Seattle. He oversees the equity, debt, and structured finance services for the Pacific Northwest, and performs Investment Sales and Advisory assignments for clients. His professional history includes over forty three years of diversified corporate finance and real estate investment, development, management, consulting/advising, and brokerage experience. Gordon has been responsible for the acquisition, development, and disposition of over 5.5 million square feet of commercial property, including office, industrial, multi-family, retail, and hotel properties, as well as over 9,300 acres of community master-planned land. He has completed over $4 billion of project secured real estate financing.

Professional History

  • Senior Vice President and Principal, Bentall Kennedy (formerly Kennedy Associates), 1998 to 2011.  Responsible for the identification, underwriting, structuring, closing and management of joint venture, development partnerships on behalf of the closed-end, commingled fund, Multi-Employer Development Partnership (MEDP). Also responsible for project financing, deal structure advisement, and asset management of Multi-Employer Hotel Partners Fund (MEHP), and an investment in a 2,300 acre master-planned residential development partnership. Mr. Ahalt was a Consultant/Advisor to over 20 Taft Hartley Pension Funds, who were investors in various real estate funds managed by Bentall Kennedy.
