Greg Masin is recognized as one of the leading experts in urban retail leasing in Florida and consistently ranks among the top leasing professionals at Cushman & Wakefield.
Gregory Masin joined Cushman & Wakefield Retail Services group in 1997 after spending 7 years in the commercial real estate finance sector. He provides consultative services to both landlords and retailers, with a focus on strategic planning and the execution of leasing strategies both in South Florida and Nationally.
Greg and his team consulted on the largest retail transaction on Lincoln Road in 2013, leasing over 26,000 square feet to Zara on behalf of 420 Lincoln Road. On behalf of ownership he also completed what is still the largest Lincoln Road side-street deal, leasing more than 15,000 square feet to CB2.
He has represented Citibank for more than ten years in the Miami market, assisting them in developing a branch network with double the concentration of deposits in the marketplace than any of their competitors. He represented Il Gabianno in its acquisition of one of Miami’s most elegant waterfront dining establishments.
Greg led the team that transitioned 17 South Florida retail assets on behalf of Rabina Properties, including the development of 500 Collins Avenue, a mixed-use asset in South Beach anchored by Equinox Fitness, Zara and TD Bank.
Additional client assignments have included Steinway & Sons, Lalique, Lacoste, and Janus et Cie.
Prior to working at Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Masin was the senior leasing agent for Venturvest Realty Corporation, a real estate services firm that specialized in third-party leasing and management of Florida retail assets. Masin oversaw a portfolio of more than four million square feet of retail space. Prior to Venturvest, he spent eight years in commercial real estate finance with service at both Southeast Bank and United National Bank.
Mr. Masin graduated from the University of Florida with a Bachelor's degree in Finance.
