Hugo Gilbert leads Cushman & Wakefield’s Washington, DC retail platform, providing brokerage services for some of the region’s most prominent retail opportunities and tenants throughout the Washington and Baltimore market. Mr. Gilbert provides private and institutional owners leasing and consulting services on urban retail properties and ground-up development. He assists his clients throughout the leasing process, including project design, merchandising, financial analysis, and transaction negotiation. In addition to representing leading real estate owners, Mr. Gilbert also works with retailers and restaurants in determining and pursuing their real estate objectives. He advises his clients in the development of market strategy and directs the process of market analysis, site selection, and negotiations.
Mr. Gilbert joined Cushman & Wakefield in April of 2012. Formerly a Research Associate with the CoStar Group, Hugo also brings 12 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry.
