John F. Walsh III has over 25 years of commercial real estate experience. Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield in 1997, Mr. Walsh began his real estate career with Norris, Beggs & Simpson in downtown San Francisco (Norris, Beggs & Simpson was purchased by Galbreath in 1994). Previous to his career in real estate, Mr. Walsh spent seven years in sales as a Manufacturer’s Representative and Sales Manager for North American Watch Corporation, a manufacturer and distributor of fine watches. Mr. Walsh specializes in Tenant Representation and Agency Leasing in the San Francisco Financial District. He has leased several million square feet of office space in a wide variety of transactions ranging in size up to 130,000 square feet.
Mr. Walsh graduated from Brown University in 1981 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Organizational Behavior. He is also holds a California Real Estate Broker’s License. John is a member of the California Corporate Relations Team, the Bay Area Council for the American Cancer Society, and volunteers with the Special Olympics. John lives in Marin County and is married and a father of two. In his spare time he enjoys mountain biking.
