Jonathan Luttwak is the founder and co-head of a global team of real estate professionals specializing in the commercial real estate needs of the alternative investment community. The team works worldwide in key cities with hedge funds, broker dealers, private equity firms, family offices, service providers, and other participants of the alternative investment industry. Jonathan’s team utilizes its unique understanding of the industry to customize solutions of Cushman & Wakefield’s global platform to provide services including tenant landlord representation, property acquisitions and dispositions, real estate finance, valuation, construction management, lease management for large occupiers, and more.
Jonathan specializes in commercial leasing and has been a real estate professional since his honorable discharge from the U.S. Army in 2005. Beginning his real estate career in Florida in 2005, Jonathan has been directly involved with over 250 real estate transactions. During his time in Florida, he led a four–person brokerage team, which was one of the top brokerage teams in the South East.
Prior to beginning his real estate career, Jonathan served as a United States Army officer, reaching the grade of captain. He deployed to Iraq as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom in 2003 and also supported operation Enduring Freedom in Kuwait following September 11th. Among numerous other awards, Jonathan received the Army Commendation Medal with Valor device for bravery during combat operations.
Graduating from the United States Military Academy in 1999, Jonathan earned a Bachelor of Science degree in systems engineering and his MBA at Columbia Business School.
Jonathan is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York, Disabled American Veterans, and an active contributor to numerous charities. Jon is the Vice President of the West Point Society of New York, a voting member on the steering committee board for the New York Hedge Fund Roundtable, and an officer on the Board of the West Point Jewish Chapel Fund.
