Jonah is an Associate with Cushman & Wakefield’s national Equity, Debt, & Structured Finance platform and has played a central role in placing more than $750 million in equity and debt in the last year.
He first joined Cushman & Wakefield’s Vancouver office in 2014 and was elevated to Manager of the Capital Markets Due Diligence department within 18 months. He was awarded the Salaried Employee of the Year in 2016 and has played a central role in producing proposals, valuations, and disposition strategies in the sale of over $1.75 billion dollars of real estate.
In 2017, Jonah became a founding member of Cushman & Wakefield’s Equity, Debt, & Structured Finance platform. His responsibilities include working with developers and investors to secure equity, senior debt, and subordinate loans from an international pool of capital sources and lenders. His primary focus has been on originating and executing equity and debt placement in support of multi-family developments on behalf of established developers in Vancouver, Calgary and Toronto.
Jonah takes great pride in assisting his clients achieve their goals. Whether they involve a strategic acquisition, a neighbourhood-enhancing development, or a capital reallocation strategy to support new endeavours, Jonah adds value through his diligence, creativity and work ethic.
Jonah holds a bachelor’s degree from Queen’s University’s Urban Geography program, a diploma in Project Management from Humber College and is a graduate of UBC’s Real Estate Trading Services program.
