As Executive Vice Chair, Joe is responsible for leading the Boston office brokerage business for Cushman & Wakefield.
Joe has over 30 years experience in representing corporations in the leasing of office and lab space. His focus has been in Cambridge and various submarkets of Boston and he has executed transactions all throughout Greater Boston and many metropolitan areas throughout the United States and the world.
Joe was selected as the Commercial Broker of the Year for the Leadership Award in 2012 by the Greater Boston Real Estate Board. He also received the CBA’s Life Science Deal of the Year for his representation of ARIAD Pharmaceuticals in 2013 for their 386,000 SF build-to-suit lease at 75 Binney Street, Cambridge and for Cambridge Office Deal of the Year for his representation of Biogen in 2011 for their 500,000 SF leases in Cambridge. In 2013 and 2014, Joe was the number one producing broker in the country at Cassidy Turley.
Prior to Cushman & Wakefield, Joe was the Regional Managing Principal of DTZ (formerly Cassidy Turley), a Founding Partner of FHO Partners, a Founding Partner and President of Fallon Hines & O’Connor which was formed in 1988, and became the Boston office of Trammell Crow Company in 1998 where he was the Managing Director of the Brokerage Group.
