Mr. Soroka holds over nine years of experience analyzing investment-grade real property assets within a plethora of real estate markets, both domestically and internationally. The spectrum of property-types include Hospitality & Gaming, trophy Office, Industrial, Shopping Centers, Super-Regional Malls, Multi-Family, Mixed-Use developments, Agribusiness, Water Rights, and other Special Use property-types.
Previously, Mr. Soroka was a Manager at KPMG, LLP within the Economic & Valuation Services group focusing on financial reporting engagements and consulting assignments throughout the U.S. and abroad. He was also heavily involved in recruiting efforts and built up a practice of five staff members, taking over mentoring and training responsibilities, as well as instructing internal advanced real estate topics courses nationally. During his tenure, the majority of his efforts were focused within the Hospitality & Gaming industry.
Prior to 2015, Mr. Soroka was based in Philadelphia, PA as a Senior Associate at Duff & Phelps, LLC focused on investment grade assets with a broad geographic competency. Assignments included appraisals, financial reporting and consulting assignments. He began his real estate career working directly under an MAI-designated appraiser in the suburbs of Philadelphia focused on financing appraisals.
Clients include lenders, developers, government agencies, publicly traded REITs, pension funds, private partnerships, attorneys and family trusts. Mr. Soroka has provided valuation and appraisal services for Hard Rock Hotels & Casinos, LXR Luxury Resorts & Hotels, Starwood Hotels & Resorts, Hilton Hotels & Resorts and KSL Resorts, MGM Resorts International, Eldorado Resorts and Boyd Gaming within the Hospitality & Gaming industry. General clients included Google, Facebook, Disney, Dropbox, Intel Corporation, Koch Industries, Amgen Inc. And Western Digital Corp.
