Ms. Kelly Hackett joined Cushman & Wakefield in October 2011 and is responsible for developing the best outsourced solution and partnership between Cushman & Wakefield and prospective and existing client relationships in Cushman & Wakefield’s (C&W) Global Occupier Services (GOS) practice. Kelly and her team’s recent successes are attributed to the development of solutions for Unum Group, Adecco, Ciena Corporation, Dean Foods, Thyssenkrupp and Bunzl. Services include 3 or 5 year contracts for a single service, or a combination of, Transaction Management, Integrated Facilities Management, Project & Development Services, Portfolio Lease Administration and Occupancy and Workplace Strategy and Planning.
Kelly has 15 years of experience in the corporate real estate industry and has lead and managed portfolio management positions on both the client side as well as the service provider side.
Ms. Hackett was the manager of real estate for Tribune Company, supporting the newspaper and media business during the economic downturn. She helped to centralize real estate functions, including the administration and rent payment processes of an approximate $60M annual spend. Additionally, she was critical in the consolidation of operations during their Chapter 11 restructuring, eliminating over 25% of the portfolio footprint and reducing annual rental expenses by $20M. Kelly’s experience as a “client” provides C&W with immeasurable insight into client objectives.
While working at CB Richard Ellis, Ms. Hackett focused on sales and transactions within the industrial, investment and corporate services arena. Working alongside senior brokers while leasing for bulk and flex industrial owners in the Indianapolis market, she also assisted with the management of corporate and strategic real estate services for major pharmaceutical clients, including Eli Lilly and Company and Medco.
Ms. Hackett, a native of Traverse City, Michigan, graduated from Butler University in Indianapolis, IN. She is affiliated with industry associations including CoreNet Global, where she has held board positions and completed her Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) designation.
