Kelly Hackett is responsible for providing strategic and platform support to clients’ portfolios, in collaboration with her colleagues within C&W’s Corporate Occupier and Investor Services (CIS) practice in the U.S. Central Region. Ms. Hackett has more than eight years of experience in the corporate real estate industry and has held transaction and portfolio management positions with major service providers, as well as internal positions with national corporate end-users.  Currently, Kelly manages accounts such as NiSource, Inc., Dover Corporation and UNUM Group to ensure consistent service delivery as well as flexible value-add solutions that support her clients’ culture, transitions and growth.

Ms. Hackett served as the Real Estate Manager for the Tribune Company, supporting the newspaper and media business during the economic downturn. She helped to centralize real estate functions, including the administration and rent payment processes of an approximate $60 million annual spend. Additionally, she was critical in the consolidation of operations during the company’s Chapter 11 restructuring, eliminating more than 25% of the portfolio footprint and reducing annual rental expenses by $20 million. Her experience as a client provides C&W with immeasurable insight into client objectives and C&W clients receive balanced advice to make informed business decisions.

Previously, Ms. Hackett worked at CB Richard Ellis for three years. While at CB Richard Ellis, Ms. Hackett focused on sales and transactions within the industrial, investment and corporate services arena. Working alongside senior brokers while leasing for bulk and flex industrial owners in the Indianapolis market, she also assisted with the management of corporate and strategic real estate services for major pharmaceutical clients, including Eli Lilly and Company, and Medco. She supported Medco by surveying the market, conducting tours and negotiating the proposals to complete a 340,000 sf build-to-suit acquisition transaction, which was one of Indiana’s largest economic incentive deals at the time.

She is active in industry associations, including CoreNet Global where she has held board positions and completed her Master of Corporate Real Estate (MCR) designation.
