Kevin Carton joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2011, specializing in tenant representation and office agency leasing. Mr. Carton has 20 years of commercial office leasing and marketing experience representing both private owners/developers as well as institutionally owned properties.
Mr. Carton leverages the brokerage community to generate activity, conducting inspections and handling negotiations with prospective tenants. Mr. Carton has positioned himself as an agency leasing specialist, drawing upon his extensive experience representing landlord for many years.
He currently directs the development and implementation of marketing, leasing and subleasing activities for a portfolio of 11 properties within central New Jersey. Select assignments include Atlantic Realty Development Corporation (three buildings), TA Associates, Onyx Equities (two buildings) and multiple dispositions for Bank of America. In 2011, Mr. Carton was directly involved with 42 transactions totaling more than 784,076 square feet.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Carton was Vice President at Jones Lang LaSalle, where he focused on Landlord and tenant representation assignments in the central New Jersey region.
Mr. Carton is a graduate of Blair Academy and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from Roanoke College. Mr. Carton is also a New Jersey State Certified General Real Estate Appraiser and recently completed the Monmouth University Executive Real Estate program. To further his education and knowledge of real estate and lease/sale transactions, Mr. Carton is also a candidate for a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation.
