Kevin Meikle has been Cushman & Wakefield’s top investment sales broker in Canada since 2005. Based in Vancouver, Kevin has achieved recognized success in all asset classes, including shopping centers, apartment, office, industrial, retirement/health care, as well as brokerage of underlying debt, participating debt, sale-leaseback and project presale.
Throughout his tenure with C&W, Kevin has transacted over $3 billion of investment real estate, including the $250 million sale of Central City in Surrey, BC in 2007, marked as the largest single property sale in British Columbia at the time. He has extensive experience in construction, development, academia, finance and sales, and has a broad contact base among pension funds and their advisors, public real estate companies, REITs and private corporations. His skill set includes sophisticated level of negotiation, structuring and deal closure.
Kevin joined Cushman & Wakefield (formerly Royal LePage Commercial) in 1996. He began his career in the 1980's as head of his family’s general contracting/development business, worth $35 million per year. He concluded the family business in 1987 and moved on to work with Citibank in Toronto, New York and Vancouver as Vice President, Corporate Finance and Corporate Real Estate before Cushman & Wakefield.
