As a Cushman & Wakefield Capital Markets specialist, Leah represents institutional and entrepreneurial owners in the acquisition, disposition and strategic planning of retail investment real estate. She has been involved in over $515 million in investment sale transactions comprising of over 3.6 million square feet.

Before joining Cushman & Wakefield Capital Markets Group, Leah worked in Multi-Family Investment Services for Colliers International in Phoenix and in Investment Services and Property Management for Welsh Companies in Minneapolis.

Leah graduated from the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Science degree in Real Estate Studies and served as President of the University of St. Thomas Real Estate Society. She remains committed to her alma mater, and has been actively involved in the alumni association for many years.

Awards & Associations

Leah is a 2014 “Top Women in Finance” Honoree by Finance & Commerce. She has been a featured speaker in industry presentations for both Minnesota Shopping Center Association (MSCA) and Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM). Leah is an active member of the Minnesota Shopping Center Association (MSCA) she serves on the Board of Directors, is Cochair of the Legislative Committee and was named Member of the Year at the STARR Awards in 2012. Leah is also an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors (MNCAR), and the University of St. Thomas Real Estate Alumni Association (USTREAA). She is also a co-founder of the Building Owners and Managers Association (BOMA)-Minneapolis Mentorship Program.

In addition, Leah is a co-founder of Dress for Success Twin Cities, a nonprofit organization dedicated to breaking the cycle of poverty. She was elected Board Emeritus in 2014 and continues to volunteer her time and serve on the board. In 2009, Leah won the coveted Community Service Award from Cushman & Wakefield for her work with Dress for Success Twin Cities.
