Mark’s success is the direct result of his affable personality, his relentless commitment to research, his attentiveness to detail and his ability to quickly identify and then meet and exceed the very specific needs of his client. A skilled negotiator, Mark’s area of focus includes representing Tenants in leasing and sales of office and industrial space. Combining Mark’s stable of national, regional and local contacts with the extensive benefits that the Cushman Wakefield platform offers, enables Mark to continuously achieve an extraordinary satisfaction rating from everyone he represents. As a result of his hard work Mark was awarded the CoStar Power Broker designation for 2016; honoring the top 15 most productive brokers in Charleston.
Before joining Cushman & Wakefield | Thalhimer, Mark’s commercial real estate background included serving as Vice President for Cushman & Wakefield | Coppedge & Tison from 2006 to 2012. Prior to moving to Charleston, Mark was actively involved in commercial property management and development in Atlanta for over fifteen years. As well as the sole developer and owner of area Chevron convenience centers.
Recognizing that Charleston is a small, unique, tertiary market where overlapping relationships between all types of commercial real estate… land, retail, industrial and office…are common, Mark benefits greatly from his abilities to both connect people and to identify underlying opportunities that others miss. He recognizes what it takes for a landlord or seller to maximize value, just as he does for a buyer or potential tenant to find and negotiate a deal that makes financial sense today and into the future.
A proud family man and an active Charleston resident, Mark thoroughly enjoys working for the greater good; a fact that many of his clients find both admirable and valuable to them on a more personal level. One thing is certain; Mark will not be outworked.
