Dale Martin joined Cushman & Wakefield in October 2009, bringing with him more than 31 years of commercial real estate project management experience. He specializes in tenant and building construction, with a focus on law firms and not-for-profit organizations. Dale understands all value engineering aspects of a project and how to ensure below budget, on-schedule outcomes for the client. He is recognized as the top construction manager in the region, having overseen more than seven million square feet in projects totaling in excess of $500 million. Dale most recently served for three years as Managing Director of Project Management for CB Richard Ellis in Washington, DC. Prior to this, he spent 20 years in project management at Trammell Crow Co.


  • Arnall Golden Gregory, Atlanta, GA - 140,000 SF
  • Jones Day, Washington, DC - 340,000 SF
  • Patton Boggs, Washington, DC - 190,000 SF
  • CSC Chambersburg: Tier 2 Data center completely built around and within an existing operating data center. 10,000 square feet of raised floor space with redundant diesel generators and N+1 configuration on air-cooled chillers, CRAC units and UPS infrastructure. 150 watts per square foot power density with future expansion capability for an additional 5,000 square feet of raised floor area.
  • CSC: Creation of two large centers for its national security interface team in Maryland close to Fort Meade. Projects were 150,000 square feet and 165,000 square feet and were very high security and heavily technical. Both projects were build-to-suit from the ground up and included back-up generators and UPS distribution systems.
  • America College of Cardiology: $24 million project that involved a major renovation to 2400 N Street, NW in DC. Scope included atrium expansion, infrastructure replacement and 120,000 square feet for headquarters tenant improvements.
  • Pew Charitable Trusts: $35 million major renovation project that included complete infrastructure replacement, major façade addition, multiple tenant improvements (the largest was 120,000 square feet) and an atrium addition.
  • Signet Tower: 400,000 square feet of tenant improvements in newly constructed Baltimore office building. Tenants included Union Trust Bank and 25 others.
  • Jones Day: 150,000 square feet expansion in 2009. Scope involved the creation of a new building adjacent to the 200,000 square foot existing building built in 1999. Project includes multiyear integration with the shell construction on both projects.
