Matt Crawford is Cushman & Wakefield’s Account Director for the Mercy Health account. His team performs transaction management, portfolio administration, brokerage, strategic consulting, facility management and project development services across 6.5 MSF of off-campus real estate in seven cities in Ohio and Kentucky.
Matt has extensive knowledge of the Stark Law and Anti-Kickback Statute and their application in healthcare real estate and has been involved in developing detailed policy and procedure manuals that provide a framework for compliant real estate activity.
Matt has deep experience across the spectrum of healthcare-specific and traditional commercial real estate and has served as an office tenant representative and multi-market account manager for users in varying industries. Before becoming account director, he served as the single point of contact for all transaction-related matters across the Mercy Health footprint including acquisitions, dispositions, lease renewals and terminations as well as timeshare leasing and development projects. Previously, he was the single point of contact for Total Quality Logistics and their 58 office North American office portfolio. Prior to his work as an account manager, Matt was a revenue producing tenant representation broker specializing in office and medical clients.
Under Matt’s leadership, the facility management and portfolio administration teams have delivered more than $2.5MM in operational, cost avoidance and lease audit savings to Mercy Health. He has designed, and is now executing, a broad array of real estate services and provides leadership for both technical and non-technical management staff.
Matt was a four-year varsity letter winning pitcher and co-captain of the Wright State University baseball team from 2002-2005. He is active in the community as a member of the Reds Community Fund advisory board and coached youth baseball in Northern Kentucky for six years.
