As part of the Corporate Capital Markets group within Cushman & Wakefield, and with more than 25 years of commercial real estate experience, Maureen Kelly Cooper is a vital team member in setting strategy for and executing significant and complex transactions. She uses structured financial tools, including tax, capital, and accounting strategies, to assist major national and international corporations in maximizing real estate value. Her expertise extends to even the most complex sale-leasebacks, lease restructurings, build-to-suits, Section 467 leases, and public-private partnerships.
Maureen joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2006 and worked in the firm’s Manhattan office before relocating to Dallas in 2013. Prior to that, she spent eight years at the corporate headquarters of The Staubach Co. (now JLL). She began her career in 1991, working in real estate accounting for Trammell Crow and JPI Inc. in Dallas, before transitioning to UBS in London.
