Melissa Bazar has extensive tenant representation experience gained over her years in the industry. Her ability to develop strategic solutions and conduct sophisticated negotiations has been proven on a number of institutional and corporate assignments.
Ms. Bazar spearheads C&W’s Junior Enhancement Program, designed to enhance the professional development of the firm’s next generation of talent. Prior to joining C&W, Ms. Bazar was part of the firm’s strategic partner, JRT Realty. She was involved in developing that firm's new business efforts and tenant representation practice. Ms. Bazar joined C&W/JRT following a successful tenant representation career at Insignia/ESG. Before entering real estate, she was an investment banker, specializing in municipal underwritings.

Before entering real estate, Ms. Bazar was an investment banker, specializing in municipal underwritings. She holds a master's degree in Real Estate from New York University, and sat on its alumni board. She has a BS degree from the Stern School of Business at New York University. She served on the foundation board of St. Mary's Hospital for Children, as it’s Vice Chairman.
She provides real estate advice for grant recipients of the Robin Hood Foundation. In addition, Ms. Bazar is a David Rockefeller Fellow, a high level civic leadership program sponsored by the Partnership for New York, and is an avid golfer.
