Michael Azarian began his New York City commercial real estate career at Massey Knakal Realty Services in 2007, specializing as an investment sales broker teaming with Vice Chairman and Partner, John Ciraulo. In 2009, he was promoted to Senior Associate, in 2010 to Associate Director and then in 2011 to Director of Sales. Throughout his tenure as a sales agent at the firm, Michael facilitated over 110 transactions with an aggregate sales value of approximately $1.1 billion.
As the company’s platform furthered its specialization to include retail leasing, Michael believed this was the opportunity to further develop his expertise. In 2012, he was promoted to Director of Retail Leasing as the firm’s first retail broker focusing in the Midtown South market. He and the division were incredibly successful within a relatively short period. In 2013, the division was ranked the Third Largest Landlord Representation Firm based on transaction volume by The Real Deal.
In December 2014, Massey Knakal was acquired by Cushman & Wakefield, and Michael and his team quickly integrated with New York’s top retail firm. Presently, Michael represents key landlord and tenant assignments throughout the New York City market.
