Mike Lanning joined Cushman & Wakefield as a Senior Vice President, City Leader in 2012. During his 30 year career in Kansas City commercial real estate, he has focused on major institutional owners, fund advisers, as well as regional and local office building landlords, representing owners and users with a value in excess of $800 million. Over the past five years, Mike has completed more than one-million square feet of office lease transactions, including two of the three top office leasing deals in the Kansas City metro. He has an excellent understanding of consulting financial services and institutional clients’ real estate needs.
Mike has been on the Senior Leadership Team for the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM) in various roles for 15 years. His involvement with IREM has improved his leadership skills through numerous executive level training courses. Prior to joining Cushman 7 Wakefield, Mike worked for CBRE for 25 years. During his tenure there, he held numerous asset services leadership roles along with office agency and office occupier services responsibilities.
