Michael T. Mayer has over 30 years of experience in commercial real estate. He graduated from Southern Methodist University in Dallas, TX and returned to his native Kansas City in 1986, where he accepted a position with the Cohen-Esrey Co. Mike joined Cushman & Wakefield in 2005 and in 2011 was announced as Managing Principal.
As Managing Principal, Mike oversees strategic and day-to-day operations of one of Kansas City’s largest full-service commercial real estate firms, including agency leasing, tenant representation, project and development services, valuation and advisory services, and asset management. His priorities include new business development, operational excellence and recruitment of top brokerage and management talent. He has extensive experience representing tenants and landlords, and has negotiated leases in excess of $1.8 billion.
