Ricardo Reis is a Partner in Cushman & Wakefield and he heads the Valuation & Advisory department in Lisbon. He is the main contact for national and international clients and for investors who seek advice to invest in the Portuguese market.

Ricardo joined the Valuation & Advisory department of Cushman & Wakefield in 2008. He has a vast experience in the Portuguese property market and previously worked at DTZ as Head of Valuations/Research & Consultancy and at CPU Consultores also as Head of Valuations. His professional experience has seen his involvement in many major valuations for investment and pension funds, valuations for privatization purposes, development reports for tourist developments amongst others.

Assignments

  • Financial Reporting: Regular valuation and coordination of shopping centres located across Europe for Sonae Sierra, but also for CBRE Global Investors, Immochan, Le Brion Management, etc..
  • Loan Security Purposes: For several entities, namely ING Bank, Hypothekenbank, CGD.
  • Portfolios Valuation: Valuation of mixed use property portfolios for the internationally renowned insurance companies Axa and Zurich; for fund managers such as Sonae Capital; as well as NPL and REO portfolios for international investors.
  • Hospitality Valuation: Several projects located in Portugal carried out for internal management or acquisition purposes for funds such as Discovery, and also for international investors/developers.
  • Advisory Hospitality: Several resorts, hotels, touristic residential located in Portugal, Mozambique and Cabo Verde, for investors who seek for an investment opportunity in hospitality.
  • Portfolios Advisory: Advise on management strategy, both to maintain or for exit purposes, for international entities such as a MAS RE, Värde, or Cerberus.
  • Best Use Advisory: Analyses of plots of land to be developed for different uses, such as the former Lisbon Fun Fair plot, or properties that require alternative use solutions, which is the case of Grijó Outlet or Tertir.
