A native New Yorker, Robert F.R. Ballard is an Executive Vice President who joined C&W in 1968. Mr. Ballard is a graduate of Harvard College. He won The Real Estate Board of New York's prestigious "Most Ingenious Broker of the Year" award in 1974 for leasing The Great Hall at 25 Broadway to the U.S. Postal Service. He authored the Directory of Manhattan Office Buildings, published by McGraw-Hill Book Company in 1978, and maintains a file of every Manhattan office building. In 2013, he represented NYC Health & Hospitals Corporation in a 221,180 SF lease at 55 Water Street.

New York Telephone Co. for a proposed switching center at Eleventh Ave. and 42nd Street. Three adjoining parcels totaling approx. 67,780 SF.

The Continental Corporation for its 41 story, approx. 982,000 SF headquarters at 180 Maiden Lane: 2 parcels totaling approx. 40,918 SF; plus 305,580 SF of air rights, plus the bed of De Peyster Street. Subsequently coordinated the development on behalf of The Continental Corporation, with the architect, builder, city agencies, and served as Exclusive Leasing Agent.

Jack Resnick & Sons, Inc. for its 35 story, approx. 1,167,022 SF office building, One Seaport Plaza: Block 74, comprising 39,759 SF plus 120,000 SF of air rights, and served as Exclusive Leasing Agent.
