Robert Burcher



Robert is an associate within Cushman & Wakefield’s Central London Landlord and Tenant team, specialising in office premises in the City, Midtown, Southbank and Canary Wharf markets. Robert is responsible for providing professional advice to both landlords and tenants on rent reviews, lease renewals and wider lease issues including re-gearing opportunities and break options. 

Robert also has experience acting as expert witness making submissions to arbitrators and independent experts.  

Robert joined C&W in 2015. having gained a BSc (Hons) in Estate Management from Oxford Brookes University. Prior to that he worked for BNP Paribas’ Lease Advisory team for 15 years covering greater London, the southeast and Midlands.

Robert acts as an APC Assessor and Chair on behalf of the RICS.

  • Robert is providing advice to Dehns on a 16,000 sq ft lease renewal at St Brides House, working with both Tenant Rep who are looking at alternative accommodation options and Building Engineering Services who are reviewing the M&E Systems in the building.
  • Robert provided advice to Unilever on a 20,000 sq ft rent review of office space at the Buckley Building in EC1
  • Robert helped advise the Home Office on a 36,000 sq ft lease renewal of office space at Becket House, SE1. The landlord was only offering a short term lease extension and the terms of the lease had to allow time for the Home Office to find alternative accommodation.
  • Robert is assisting with advice to Tesco on a 30,000 sq ft office building, this requires working with Building Engineering Services to identify potential problems with the building’s M&E system.
