A Senior Director, Mr. Garey brings more than 23 years of real estate experience to bear on behalf of his clientele. Mr. Garey has broad experience and works on a wide spectrum of assignments including agency representation of major properties, tenant representation, consulting assignments and sales assignments for major office properties. Mr. Garey has completed over 2000 real estate transactions and consulting assignments in excess of 15.5 million square feet on behalf of local, regional and national clients as well as city, county, state and federal government agencies.
In addition to representing tenants in leasing or purchasing their facilities, Mr. Garey has been involved in many investment sales on behalf of his clients. In 2002, Mr. Garey and his team consummated the sale of the 558,000 square foot World Trade Center and 400 Room Hilton Hotel in Long Beach, California. In the past 3 years, Mr. Garey has been involved in the sale of over 2,700,000 square feet.
Mr. Garey received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from California State University Long Beach in 1983. Mr. Garey is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) candidate and an active member of the AIR Commercial Real Estate Association.

Since joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Garey has been recognized as one of the firm’s top producers. He was awarded membership into the firm’s President’s Circle in 2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011 and 2012 and Chairman’s Circle in 2002. Additionally, Mr. Garey and his team won the Service Excellence Award on two occasions as the highest rated brokerage team in the area of client satisfaction in the Southern California Region as voted on by Cushman & Wakefield clients.
In 2009, Mr. Garey along with his partners Robert Alperin and Kimball Wasick, were ranked #5 in total lease transactions and #51 in total dollar volume of all transactions in Real Estate Southern California’s 10th Annual Broker Hot List.
