R. Eric Mattson, Jr. serves as Director in the Capital Markets Group for Cushman & Wakefield (C&W) in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
With over 20 years of experience, his background includes real estate brokerage, asset management, and valuation across all asset classes (major industrial, commercial and residential complexes). He has been responsible for the acquisition and disposition of investment real estate for private and institutional buyers and sellers on a national level, with sales totaling over $1 billion. He has provided advisory services in the areas of market research, asset positioning, financial modeling, equity capital raising, mortgage origination and structuring, joint venture structuring, leasing and dispositions, divestitures, portfolio management and lease consulting.
Prior to joining C&W, Mr. Mattson was Managing Director of Investment Sales at Professional Realty Advisors. He also served as Senior Account Representative and Broker of Record at GMH Capital Partners in its Investment Services Division, where he supervised the financial analysis and real estate property disposition process on a national level.
As Acquisitions Officer at the Berwind Property Group, Inc., he developed financial analyses and market valuations of real estate assets for a discretionary equity fund, as well as negotiated sales, oversaw new construction projects and managed multiple property assets.
He has an extensive real estate valuation background, having worked at Integra Realty Resources, J.D. Pasquarella Advisors, providing appraisals for a broad range of real estate investment properties, and at V.H. Pasquarella, Sr., Appraisal Associates, Inc., where he began his career.
Mr. Mattson is a licensed Pennsylvania Real Estate Broker, and holds a Master of Arts in Real Estate Valuation from New York University, and a Bachelor of Science in Quantitative Business Analysis from Pennsylvania State University.
