As Executive Managing Director, Robert A. Ortiz is responsible for providing advisory and transaction services to tenants and corporate institutional clients. Throughout the course of his real estate career, Mr. Ortiz has completed over 12 million square feet of tenant occupancy and been involved in the leasing and management of over 15 million square feet in Downtown Los Angeles. Mr. Ortiz also works closely with the CEO of the Americas and assists in strategizing and driving key initiatives.
Mr. Ortiz was a partner and Executive Vice President at Cushman Realty Corporation when they merged with Cushman & Wakefield in June 2001. He was responsible for all facets of operations in managing and directing the brokerage company as well as implementing a variety of management approaches with emphasis on providing the highest level of service to the firm’s clients. Mr. Ortiz also provided brokerage services and advisory to the company’s most prestigious clients.
Awards & Associations
Prior to 1986, he was Executive Vice President at Cushman & Wakefield. He received the “Branch Manager of the Year” award and was the #1 Managing Broker in the United States. During his tenure as a commercial broker with Cushman & Wakefield, he performed in the top 3% of producing brokers nationally. Mr. Ortiz was also a director of the National Training and Orientation Committee responsible for the development of marketing and sales program nationwide.
