Scot Farber is an Executive Managing Director within Cushman & Wakefield of Texas Inc.’s (C&W) Capital Markets Group and is in charge of the disposition of investment sales properties for financial institutions, banks, special servicers, pension funds, REITs, corporate users and private investors.
Prior to joining Cushman & Wakefield, Mr. Farber was an Executive Vice President with the Grubb & Ellis Investment Services Group. In his ten years at Grubb & Ellis, Mr. Farber was a Top Producer locally, regionally or nationally each year.
Prior to joining Grubb & Ellis, Mr. Farber was a Director at Credit Suisse First Boston, a Senior Vice President at Jones, Lang, LaSalle, and a Senior Director at Cushman Realty Corporation. Mr. Farber’s career includes the disposition of high-profile real estate assets across the country. Scot has completed over 160 investment sales assignments ranging in size from 26,000 square feet to 1,850,000 square feet with a market value in excess of $3.0 billion.
Mr. Farber began his commercial real estate career over twenty two years ago on the pension fund advisory side; directing and negotiating the disposition, leasing and management of portfolios, consisting of office, industrial, retail, and multi-family properties, with an aggregate value in excess of $450 million.
Mr. Farber was a Vice President at Koll Investment Management with Asset Management responsibilities for all property types throughout the Southwest and Midwest markets. Mr. Farber managed over four million square feet of commercial real estate, valued in excess of $400 million. Mr. Farber negotiated over 200 leases. Mr. Farber also worked as an Asset Manager and Analyst for Aetna Investment Group, managing over one million square feet of commercial real estate.

Mr. Farber received a Bachelor of Business Administration, Finance and Real Estate from the University of Texas at Austin and a Masters of Business Administration in International Business from the University of Texas at Dallas. He is a licensed real estate broker in Texas and Oklahoma.
He is a member of the Dallas Safari Club, National Cowboy and Western Heritage Museum and the Gilcrease Museum.
