Stephen G. Shoemaker is an Associate in Industrial Brokerage Sales & Leasing, specializing in both Tenant and Landlord representation, in Cushman & Wakefield’s Iselin, New Jersey office. He is responsible for sourcing development land sites as well as properties, assisting tenants acquiring space, and handling nation-wide landlord leasing assignments. Stephen’s focus is on the NYC Metro area, particularly the Port NY/NJ market. His clients include public/private REITS, private funds, construction companies, high-net worth individuals, tenants; final-mile distribution, LTL, food & beverage, 3PL, bulk distributors, drayage/port, intermodal, TL, trailer parking, and retail logistics.
Stephen began his career at Urstadt Biddle Properties (UBP) in Greenwich, Connecticut as an intern working in leasing and acquisitions for two consecutive summers. He spent his last summer before college graduation at Boston Properties (BXP) in Manhattan, NY, working in construction/development, property management, and leasing.
After graduation from Yale University, Stephen accepted the role as an Acquisitions Analyst for Realterm – a $3bn REPE firm focused on global industrial assets. Stephen worked on the acquisitions team for the RLF I & RLF-II value-add industrial funds as well as RLIF a core-fund venture with LaSalle Investment Management. He covered the eastern region including: MIA, Savannah, Charleston, ATL, BWI Corridor, NYC Metro/NJ, & Boston, with a focus on sourcing, underwriting, and due diligence. Both RLF I/II and RLIF looked to acquire logistics related heavy industrial assets. He joined Cushman & Wakefield in November 2017.
